Areas of the Jaycees

Community Development
Community Development (CD) areas cover youth competition programs, community fundraising, community improvement such as Overpass Skate Park and Arts Center, and human service projects.

Individual Development
Individual Development (ID) is for the betterment of the member. This includes courses on personal dynamics, leadership, communications, stress relief, and time management.
Other areas of ID programming are Family Life, which are projects for the family such as Kid's Spring Egg Hunts, Family Picnics and personal skills programs ranging from personal financial planning to 'how to' programs

Membership and Growth
Membership and Growth is the fun part of the Jaycees. Without new members and current members renewing their dues, the chapter would not exist. Projects include member socials, new member recruitment projects, visiting other chapters and new member training programs.

Management Development
This chapter is a business. To do this we run chapter fundraisers such as the Forest Lake Ice Fishing Contest, Raspberry Days Festival, and Mainstreet Days. These projects help us fund all the areas of the chapter.
